올해 2025년은 설날이 1월에 있어서 골프대회와 같이 진행하게 되었습니다. 많은 한인분들의 참여와 더불어 성공적인 골프대회를 치뤘고 골프대회후 간단한 식사와 시상식도 있었습니다.

This January, we celebrated Seolnal and had the opportunity to collaborate with the nonprofit organization We Above Me to co-host a golf tournament. The event was a great success, bringing the community together to enjoy Korean food, connect with fellow Koreans, and raise funds for a meaningful cause—all while enjoying a round of golf.

2024년 연말에도 장난감 기부 봉사활동이 진행되었습니다. 많은 한인교회들에서 장난감이 기부되어 지역사회 병원에 전부 성공적으로 기부하였습니다. 매년 참여도가 증가함을 느낄수 있어서 기분좋은 봉사활동이었습니다.

Once again, we gathered a generous collection of toys for children in Bakersfield, with support from Korean churches and local business owners. We successfully delivered them to Valley Children’s Hospital and Dignity Health, bringing joy to those in need.

2024년에도 새학기를 맞이하여 학용품기부를 하는 봉사활동을 진행하였습니다. 각종 행사로 거둬드린 기부금으로 책가방과 학용품들을 구매하여 지역 병원 학용품 지원 프로그램에 전부 기부하였습니다. 많은 한인분들의 행사참여와 기부에 감사드립니다.

We purchased a variety of school supplies, including backpacks, pens, notebooks, and more, and donated them to the Dignity Health Back-to-School Program to support students in need.

베이커스필드의 청년들과 교류와 체력증진을 위해서 처음으로 농구대회를 개최하였습니다. 한인 청소년뿐만 아니라 지역사회 청년들도 같이 참여하여 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다.

We organized a basketball tournament to bring the young generation together, encouraging teamwork, engagement, and physical activity. It was a fantastic opportunity for Bakersfield’s youth to connect, compete, and build a stronger community.

코비드19 팬데믹 이후로 오랫동안 단절이 이루어진 한인커뮤니티에 활력을 불어넣고자 골프대회를 개최하게 되었습니다. 많은 한인분들의 참여와 더불어 성공적인 골프대회를 치루게 되었습니다. 많은 한인분들이 오래간만에 교류하는 모습에서 뿌듯함과 기쁜 마음이 들게 한 성공적인 행사였습니다.

We hosted a golf tournament to reunite the Korean community after the disconnect caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a fantastic opportunity for people to reconnect, strengthen bonds, and enjoy a day of camaraderie.

처음으로 진행한 연말기념 장난감 기부행사에 많은 한인비즈니스 오너분들과 한인교회들에서 적극적인 참여를 해주셨습니다. 모아진 장난감들은 베이커스필드 벨리칠드런 병원과 디그니티 병원에 전부 기증되었습니다. 많은 참여 감사드립니다.

We successfully collected toys from various Korean churches and Korean-owned businesses to donate many toys to families in Bakersfield.
